Check-In (5 minutes)

You'll be welcomed and confirm your details.

Should you still want to participate you will sign a consent form.

Health Questions (10 minutes)

A short self-administered questionnaire about your dietary habits, health and oral care routine.

Oral Exam (15–20 minutes)

Your blood pressure will be checked as part of the assessment.

A non-invasive dental check using a mirror and probe will be carried out.

No drilling, no needles — just a gentle exam of gums and teeth.

The oral exam takes place in a private room to ensure comfort and confidentiality.

Feedback & Results

You'll get a personalized results card.

If we see any issues, we'll guide you on next steps or referrals.

Your comfort and safety matter to us. If you have vision impairment, mobility challenges, hearing difficulties, or any other disability, a member of our team will be there to assist you at every step of the visit — from check-in through to your results.

If you’d like, you can let us know about any specific needs when booking, so we can make your visit as smooth as possible.

  • Bring your Barbados ID Card
  • Bring a list of your current medications (if you are taking them)
  •  Know your approximate weight and height (if you’re unsure, don’t worry our team can assist you).
  • If you wear mobile dentures or appliances, bring them along.
  • Allow 20-30 minutes total for your visit.

Important Note on Dental Appliances

For us to complete a proper oral health examination, we kindly ask that you remove any mobile appliances (such as dentures, retainers, or removable partials) during the visit. If you are unable or unwilling to remove these appliances, the dental portion of the visit cannot take place, as it prevents us from carrying out a safe and accurate assessment. Your comfort and dignity are a priority, and our team will provide assistance if needed.
